The joint meeting of the Belgian Association of Pediatric Surgery (BELAPS) and the Groupe d’Etude en Coeliochirurgie Infantile (GECI) that will be held in Brussels this October. There will be free paper presentations, and a session on the treatment of appendicitis in children. Other subjects covered will include NEC/SIP, Hirschsprung’s Disease, and long-gap oesophageal atresia with dicusssion by renowned international experts.
The GECI congress will include sessions of minimally invasive surgery in children (thoracic, abdominal, urology, gynaecology…) including the current role of robotic surgery.
